Squish Squad Rescue is a volunteer-run, foster-based nonprofit dedicated to providing specialized care for neonatal kittens, brachycephalic cats (flat faced), and other vulnerable felines requiring extra time, patience, and medical support.
Animal shelters play an essential role in protecting homeless animals and serving our communities. Our mission is not to replace that work—it’s to strengthen it.
By accepting referrals for cats and kittens requiring intensive neonatal care, specialized medical rehabilitation, or extended foster placement, we help provide individualized care while creating additional capacity for shelters to continue their lifesaving work.

Saving lives takes a community. We proudly partner with shelters, veterinarians, fellow rescues, fosters, volunteers, and compassionate supporters who share one common goal: giving every cat the opportunity to heal, thrive, and find a loving forever home.
Because it takes a village!
Every member of Squish Squad Rescue donates their time, skills, and compassion to help save lives. As a small rescue, every foster home, volunteer, donor, and supporter directly increases the number of cats and kittens we are able to help.

Every adoption is more than a happy ending—it's a new beginning. By opening your heart and home to a rescue cat, you're giving them the love, security, and second chance they deserve while making room for us to help another cat in need. Together, we're creating brighter futures, one forever home at a time.
At Squish Squad Rescue, we believe every cat deserves compassionate, consistent, and evidence-informed care. We combine the heart of rescue with the organization and attention to detail inspired by human healthcare.
Every cat receives a care plan tailored to their age, medical condition, and unique needs.
Routine weight checks, feeding records, hydration assessments, medications, and health evaluations help us recognize small changes before they become bigger problems.
Clear, standardized medical records promote continuity of care and improve communication between fosters, veterinarians, and rescue partners.
We continually refine our protocols through veterinary guidance, continuing education, and hands-on rescue experience to provide the highest level of care possible.
